Education & Scholarships

The ACF Kona Kohala Chapter , Chefs de Cuisine is proud to serve our West Hawaii Junior Chef student members. These members learn first-hand culinary skills to enrich their pursuits. We also provide scholarships which is explained below.

Hawaii Community College - Pālamanui Campus offers the following ACF (American Culinary Federation) accredited program:

Culinary Arts Program 
  • 2 year program 67 credits 
  • approx. $8,900 tuition plus uniform, books, and knife kit.

Scholarships

The ACF KonaKohala Chapter Chefs de Cuisine Association, Inc. provides scholarships to Chapter members for culinary enrichment.

The Chapter also provides yearly scholarships to ACF Kona Kohala Junior Chefs, a collegiate organization, for culinary education in West Hawaii. The intent of these scholarships is to support Junior Chef members who are active in the ACF.

Additionally, the Chapter provides scholarships for high school students and industry workers beginning their culinary education at the Hawaii Community College-Pālamanui Hawaii Campus.
